Welcome to Sunset Office Cleaning

Looking for an office cleaning service big enough to do a quality professional job, yet small enough to care about the unique needs of your building?

Cleaning Supervisor (part-time evenings and weekends)

Train. Teach. Lead. Inspect. Clean. Help Our Team Succeed.

At Sunset Office Cleaning, we believe great leadership & training are the keys to exceptional cleaning results. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you won’t just clean & oversee cleaning—you’ll teach, train, & support our cleaning technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality service. If you enjoy coaching others, inspecting work for excellence, & problem-solving proactively, this role is for you!

 Why Join Sunset Office Cleaning?

  • Competitive Pay with Performance-Based Earnings: Earn a base rate of $19.50/hour for cleaning & training technicians, plus a monthly performance-based salary tied to the clients you manage. This includes inspections, team member communications, and supply delivery (which can be done during inspections). In some months, past supervisors have earned $40+ per hour when their team was fully staffed and they weren’t covering for absent technicians.
  • Growth Opportunities: Take on additional clients for increased income.
  • Bonuses:
    – $175 retention bonus after 4 months.
    – Christmas bonuses to celebrate your hard work.
  • Supportive, Locally Owned Company: We’ve been a trusted name in Sioux Falls since 1989. Our non-franchised, well-organized team values reliability, teamwork, & excellence.

What This Role Is All About

This is more than just a supervisory role—you’re a trainer, teacher, & quality inspector. Your job is to ensure that our cleaning technicians are well-trained, motivated, & delivering top-notch service.
You’ll be responsible for:

  • Problem-Solving & Coaching – Identify issues before they become problems, provide corrective training, & motivate your people to improve.
  • Team Support – Be a resource for your cleaning technicians, answering their questions, delivering supplies, & ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.

 What We’re Looking For

  • A Natural Teacher – You enjoy coaching & developing others to improve their skills.
  • Detail-Oriented Inspector – You notice the small details that make a big difference in cleaning quality.
  • Proactive & Organized Leader – You anticipate issues, plan ahead, & ensure smooth operations.
  • Reliable & Committed – You follow through, take initiative, & hold yourself to high standards.
  • Strong Communicator – You listen actively, give clear feedback, & motivate your team positively.
  • Positive Attitude – You keep calm in stressful situations, focus on solutions rather than blame, & enjoy helping others.

 Your Responsibilities

  • Teach & Train Cleaning Technicians – Provide hands-on training & verify that employees follow procedures correctly.
  • Conduct Quality Inspections – Inspect work, investigate client complaints, & provide improvement strategies.
  • Provide Feedback & Support – Motivate team members to improve & maintain high cleaning standards.
  • Fill In for Cleaning Technician Absences – Most shifts are under 3-4 hours.
  • Deliver Supplies & Make Minor Vacuum Repairs (training provided).
  • Communicate Clearly & Promptly – Respond to calls, texts, & emails promptly.

  • Attend Occasional Meetings – Provide insights & suggestions for continuous improvement.

 Work Schedule & Expectations

  • Part-Time, Flexible Hours: 0–20 hours per week, working 0–5 days/week, depending on workflow & staffing.
  • Variable Availability Needed: Primarily Monday–Thursday evenings & weekends.
  • Potential for 25 hours/week occasionally, especially during new client setups or supervisor vacations.
